Air freight — frequently asked questions
Air freight uses the higher of actual weight or volumetric weight (L × W × H in cm / 6000 for kg). We always quote both and apply chargeable weight transparently.
MAWB (Master Air Waybill) is issued by the airline to us as the consolidator. HAWB (House Air Waybill) is issued by us to the actual shipper and consignee. As your forwarder, you receive the HAWB.
Yes — fresh mangoes, citrus, seafood and pharmaceutical products. We arrange chilled storage at KHI cargo terminal and book on CEIV-certified airlines.
Direct or one-stop: 18–36 hours flight time. Door-to-door including pickup, clearance and final delivery: typically 3–5 working days depending on consignee customs.
Standard belly-hold cargo accepts up to 150 cm height per piece. Freighter aircraft handle pieces up to 3 m height, 3.2 m width, and up to 28 tonnes per piece. Larger needs are routed via charter.
